October 10, 2009 - Turner's b-day survivor challenge

Our friends Jay and Blake threw Colin's friend (and Blake's son) Turner a fabulous early birthday party at their lake house before the fall chill set in. It was a fun and mostly friendly competition!

October 3. 2009 - Brewers vs Cardinals

Nothing better than a trip to STL... except maybe one that involves a Cardinals vs Brewers game at Busch Stadium! With ** 1 ** Brewer's fan in the bunch (COLIN)!!!

October 3, 2009 - fall festival fun

We went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens for a fall festival where they had wonderful kids activities and local arts.

There's nothing better during a trip to Papa's than some Alfonzo's game room fun!

Skee ball, air hockey, car ride and driving games... a night of fun for all!

September 28, 2009 - carmel apple season!

September 27, 2009 - to the audubon!

... Schlitz Audobon Nature Center, that is!

Colin and I went for some nature trail walks, taking in all of the changing Fall leaves (and collecting them for a collage he made later!) as well as getting some exercise in the cool Fall weather!

Back at the center, Colin befriends the rats, Laverne and Shirley, kept as pets at the center.

September 22, 2009 - cookie making for the neighbors

Colin the baker and I made cookies tonight to take over to the two new neighbors that recently moved to our block and also to our neighbor Allison as she kindly watched Colin for the morning last week when he was on his road to recovery from a short sickness!

September 12, 2009 - the trees come down!

There used to be three trees in/leaning over our backyard... and these strong men climbed them and cut them down in just a few hours. When Colin and I got home from gymnastics (him, not me :), he got to watch for a while with his Papa who was visiting.
