October 3, 2009 - fall festival fun

We went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens for a fall festival where they had wonderful kids activities and local arts.

October 2, 2009 - Alfonzo's game room

There's nothing better during a trip to Papa's than some Alfonzo's game room fun!

Skee ball, air hockey, car ride and driving games... a night of fun for all!

September 28, 2009 - carmel apple season!

September 27, 2009 - to the audubon!

... Schlitz Audobon Nature Center, that is!

Colin and I went for some nature trail walks, taking in all of the changing Fall leaves (and collecting them for a collage he made later!) as well as getting some exercise in the cool Fall weather!

Climbing the tower to be as tall as the trees! / Colin as a turtle like the ones that we saw in the ponds!

Colin looking for tadpoles in the pond, we saw hundreds of their frog friends! / smiles on our hike!

Back at the center, Colin befriends the rats, Laverne and Shirley, kept as pets at the center.

And then Colin made a picture from the leaves and acorns he had collected!
