January 28, 2007 - Colin's 1st Haircut

That's a lock of his hair to the right of the teddy bear sticker-- there wasn't too much there to cut! Colin did great and he even got to watch a little Baby Einstein although he was more interested in playing with the stylist's comb!

January 23, 2007 - Fridge Farm Animals

Colin loves his new fridge farm animals that he got for his birthday from Mama... and that's a good thing because Mama sometimes questions why she bought them every day when she hears them

January 21, 2007 - Outing to the museum in the snow

Mommy and Colin braved the snow to get out for a while today and went to the Children's Museum! It was a much different experience than the last time since Colin is walking now and we both had a lot of fun!

January 19, 2007 - Exciting news- Mommy and Colin's new home!

So, the closing is not for a few more months (April 12th), but we extended an offer on a house in the Village of Whitefish Bay and it was accepted today! Very exciting for both of us!

The house is a darling 3 bedroom colonial and it is only 2 blocks from Richards Elementary School and a short walk to downtown Whitefish Bay! For those out of towners, WFB is a lovely village community ~ 6 miles North of downtown along Lake Michigan. Colin can't wait for the big rec room downstairs and his own yard to run around in the Spring!

January 18, 2007 - New hairdo??

So, this is what happens when you leave the Aunties (Melissa and Marissa of course) to babysit and give Colin a bath :)

January 14, 2007 - Colin's 1st Birthday!!!

January 7, 2007 - Brennie's Birthday Bash

Colin's first friend, Brendan, turns 1 year old on January 8th and Colin was invited to his birthday party today (and given these pictures, I think Brennie taught Colin a thing or two for how to thoroughly enjoy the icing on birthday cakes!) It was a great birthday party and Lauren (Brendan's Mom) and I can't believe that it has been almost a year since we met and the boys were 11 days old (Colin) and 17 days old (Brendan)!!!!

Another new something discovered during our holiday-Colin is getting all four of his top front teeth in at once... they are just starting to show if you look really close!

so, maybe Mama got a little carried away when she ordered Colin's personalized Christmas pajamas.... :) But it's still so cute anyway!!!

January 6, 2007 - Walking!!!

At the beginning of our Christmas vacation, Colin could take two steps and a lunge to reach the person holding their arms out for him... and by the end of the week, he was walking across the room by himself. It still amazes me how quickly babies can learn to do something!

December 25, 2006 - Merry Christmas!

December 23rd-30th: Colin's Christmas Break

Colin spent his first Christmas in Collinsville with family and friends. Here's a few pictures of our holiday and you can see more pictures from our fun week by clicking here. His favorite things were Grandpa's train around the tree and his new red wagon!

December 21, 2006 - Opening his first present

Colin got a little bit of early practice opening his Christmas/Hanukkah :) presents from Aunties Melissa and Marissa before we left for St.Louis. He did great - only took about 20 minutes to open the present so he could play with every little piece of paper he ripped off of the wrapping!
