September 22, 2009 - cookie making for the neighbors

Colin the baker and I made cookies tonight to take over to the two new neighbors that recently moved to our block and also to our neighbor Allison as she kindly watched Colin for the morning last week when he was on his road to recovery from a short sickness!

September 12, 2009 - the trees come down!

There used to be three trees in/leaning over our backyard... and these strong men climbed them and cut them down in just a few hours. When Colin and I got home from gymnastics (him, not me :), he got to watch for a while with his Papa who was visiting.

September 3-6, 2009 - visit to cousin Kivrin's

We took the long weekend to fly to KS for a much due visit to Colin's cousin Kivrin!

Colin got a lot of reading in... and super fun visits to the Topeka library!

Train ride at Gage Park!! A must have stop!

A fun morning at the farmer's market! Colin got a stellar balloon tiger hat and Kivrin found a new friend... in a concrete lion that she got to take home for the garden! :)

So much fun walking to and playing at all of the local parks!

Colin found his requested tiger halloween costume and he tried it out with a big roar to go with it... while also trying out Kivrin's sit 'n spin / Kivrin's belated 1st b-day party with a plate of whipping cream for her to play in!

The new rock band has been formed!

Colin getting his first pedi / Mama and Colin fell asleep together on the couch lounging in the evening!

So much fun visiting Aunt Lissa, Uncle Dan, Kivrin and the kitty cats in Topeka!! We hope to return soon!
