April 27, 2008 - hooligan boys

Doesn't it look like they are destined to get into trouble together?!?!?

Lauren caught this pic on her phone this afternoon while the boys were running around and away from their mamas! (mind you, after the two boys Brendan (L) and Colin (R) behaved during and listened to a choir performance at the Rea's church :)

April 26, 2008 - David comes to play

Mama and Colin's friend David came over for a visit tonight and Colin loved playing with him! And then David pretended to "rest" with Colin on the couch to help get him prepared for his bedtime :)

April 26, 2008 - Froggy Story Time at Central Library

Colin listens intently at the stories being read
Very unlike his mama as a small child, Colin warms up to the Froggy character very quickly and moves over on the storytime rug to sit in his lap (look closely to see Colin's blonde head under the froggy's)
SO CUTE!

Colin met his friends Brennie and baby Katie at story time today at the Central Library. 'Froggy' came to visit the kids and to help tell some frog stories. The boys had fun as did the moms!

April 24, 2008 - splashing in the rain

It's been a rainy few days and Colin got to go outside and splash around in the puddles after dinner that we could find wearing his favorite rain jacket and rain boots!

April 20, 2008 - playing at Brennie's

Beautiful Sunday afternoon and Colin got to spend it at his buddy Brendan's house playing outside! They played catch, hung out inside and everyone got to snuggle with baby Katie who is getting so big! (Colin may have his eyes on Katie but Lauren and I are holding out a few more years to make sure that they are an acceptable couple :0

April 20, 2008 - outside injury

Sad little man in this pic... Colin had an injury this afternoon (first in a while thankfully). He had his hands in his pockets and tripped over something laying in the garage. Poor little guy got a scratched up cheek and a swollen lip (his cheeks were already pink from his molar teething).

April 19-20, 2008 - OUTSIDE!!!

FINALLY- all of the snow has melted... and we have a yard!! and can go outside without coats, scarves, mittens and winter hats!

Colin and Mama have been anticipating the Spring weather and it is here (hopefully to stay :)

April 18, 2008 - FFF at the Botanical Gardens

Colin and Mama meet friends for Friday Fish Fry at the Boerner Botanical Gardens- there is a band... the kids needless to say, have a FABULOUS time :)

April 17, 2008 - bath time

a new odd routine begins... Colin has to take off his socks to check for 'toe fuzz' once or twice a day... it's quite the somewhat amusing scene

April 16, 2008 - BaCkWaRdS dAy!

It was 'Week of the Young Child' at school so they had fun themes each day like funny hat day (Colin chose his fireman's hat), crazy hair day (Colin wore a spiky fauxhawk courtesy of Craig), pajama day and the best of all - BaCkWaRdS dAy!!!

April 6, 2008 - Fun with Brennie and Katie

Colin loves to play with his pal Brennie and we got in a late afternoon play date at Brennie's house so Colin got to play with Brennie, their neighbor Anna, baby Katie, and the cats! Thanks Reas for the fun time!

It's so much fun to watch these 2 boys grow up together

Towards the end of our visit, Colin realized how tired he was (after refusing to nap earlier in the day) and he crawls into Brendan's bed. Then Brennie covered him up with his blankets (so nice!) and joined him!

April 1, 2008 - rec room fun

Colin checks out some new presents from Grammy Mary and some old favorites in our favorite playtime location... the rec room

He loves to crawl through his new owl tunnel!

Look at Wizard Colin! His wand makes crazy cool noises too :)

And yes, Colin is giving a 'little' kiss to one of his farm animals as he puts them into their new homes in his barn...
