February 25, 2007 - Art day!

In case we were cooped up in the house with the blizzard conditions, Colin and Mommy stocked up on art supplies on Saturday so Colin could do some drawing-- here's the artist hard at work (well, okay, he was really hard at work trying to do anything with the crayons and markers besides color with them, but Mama managed to help him draw a few masterpieces :) We didn't make it to the fingerpaints.. we'll brave that one the next time!

February 24, 2007 - Ready for the pool!

Colin and Mommy take a Saturday evening swim before Colin's bath-- here is Colin in his 'little swimmers' reading a new favorite book he got from his friend Addison for Christmas-- he loves to count the ducks!

After Colin got in some reading/counting time, he and Mommy went down to the pool to go swimming and there was a cute 5 year old girl and her Grandma swimming too-- Colin had so much fun having another "big kid" to play with in the pool and he laughed and splashed and had a great time!

February 24, 2007 - Playdate at Jordan's

Colin had a blast at his friend Jordan's house for a Saturday afternoon playdate with Jordan and his friends Jack, Katie and Whitney. Oh yeah, and the Mamas had a good time catching up too!

February 22, 2007 - Who needs applesauce?

Since Colin decided that he can eat a whole apple! Who knew? We went to the grocery after dinner tonight and Colin was reaching for an apple so I let him hold it while we shopped... little did I know that "hold" meant EAT! With his 6 little teeth, he chewed away at that apple (not recommended while grocery shopping as I collected a handful of the apple peel in my hand during this process) and continued to try to eat the apple when we got home. I think that will be the only whole apple for a while, but he enjoyed it!

February 19, 2007 - Baseball cap

Colin loves his new baseball cap (he even tolerates wearing it- we're getting ready for Spring and taking walks outside!)

Auntie Lissa got Colin his first baby doll for his birthday (you know the feminist sisters will try to offer activities that traditionally fall under both gender stereotypes :)

February 14, 2007 - Mama's Valentine

February 9, 2007 - Mama's Helper

This is the second time that Colin has helped Mama take out the garbage, and all on his own accord... I was going to wait until he was at least 8 to ask him to take over this chore! He was so cute trying to carry the diaper bag down the hallway to the trash chute!

February 4, 2007 - good eatin'

Colin having lunch and back to eating good after another week of being sick with an ear infection (we're both ready for Spring time and warmer weather!!) He's eating grilled cheese with spinach - a hint from Brennie's Mom on how to sneak in yummy green vegetables without the babies even knowing it and it works!

January 30, 2007 - Soccer League

Mama will make a soccer player of Colin yet

(or at least dress him like he's one :)

But hey, if you just put a soccer ball in front of his right foot in this shot,

he'd be ready for a goal!
