August 14, 2006- 7 Months Old

And what a way to celebrate... getting his first ear infection! I think Colin just wanted to play hooky with Mommy from day care/work on his 7 month birthday... but he will probably rethink this idea next time because being sick wiped him out! (He's feeling much better now :)

August 13, 2006 - New bath tub

August 13, 2006 - Teething techniques

If the teething toys aren't cutting it, then Colin gets his mouth around something of substance, like the entire high chair tray!

August 12, 2006 - Helping with the laundry

Colin helps Mommy fold the laundry (and gets almost buried in the pile!) He's all smiles!

August 9, 2006 - On all fours!

The picture isn't the best quality (taken using my cell phone camera) but it does show this little man up on all fours! Okay, so he doesn't stay that way for long but he gets a rockin' when he does stay up!

August 6, 2006 - Big Boy Bath

Colin gets a treat-- a bath in the big boy tub with Mommy as a baby bumper! He loves to splash around and play with the water toys.

August 5, 2006 - Afternoon cat nap

Mommy and Colin take a little Saturday afternoon cat nap together... so peaceful.

August 4, 2006 - Making baby food

Colin in the midst of the fruits and veggies that will be used for Baby Food Making 101 (Aunt Lissa gets more practice than she signed up for...)

There are sweet potatos, banana, plums, payaya, kiwi, green beans, peaches and more!

See how much fun making baby food can be??? Plums turn into tasty baby treats to be frozen until Colin's ready and hungry to eat them!

Colin plays with his Aunt and shows that he is "SO BIG!"

Colin loves his sippy cup!
He drinks water out of it as well as chews on the spout (makes for a great teething toy)!

July 27, 2006 - Playing ball

Colin loves to play with his big colorful ball! He picks it up, tries to fit it in his mouth and then cheers for Mommy to roll it back to him!

July 24, 2006 - Veggiesaurus

Colin shows off his favorite shirt in honor of his Aunt Lissa and Uncle Dan, both vegetarians. It has a friendly dinosaur and reads 'I eat plants'

July 23, 2006 - The Bath Routine

Colin plays with Elmo as Mommy runs his bath water...

And then he chews on his rubber ducky in the tub...

And last he gets bundled in his lion towel to dry off!

July 23, 2006 - New friends!

Colin has his friend Griffin over to play! They share toys, fall over each other and Griffin tries out Colin's Bumbo chair!

July 21, 2006 - Basic Training

Colin starts his basic training to strenghten his arms so he can learn how to crawl (while Momma is still okay with him staying in one spot, Colin's ready to get on the move)!

July 20, 2006 - Christmas in July?

Hmmm... what is Colin doing wearing a Christmas Elf outfit in July?? Well, I'll give you a little hint. That's not Colin, it's Mommy (taken around 6 months old, the same age as Colin is in the picture to the right). Can you say double take?

July 4, 2006 - Swimming Lessons

Colin tries out swimming for the first time in Grandpa's hot tub (no worries, it is filled with fresh water set to the perfect temperature for the baby's soft skin)
