June 24, 2007 - tRiP tO tHe ZoO!

Colin's favorite thing to say during this trip to the zoo was "mah" or more-- he wanted to see more and more animals! We had a blast and especially had fun with David who came with us for the day!

June 21, 207 - extensive vocabulary :)

and oops... Colin reminded Mama later that I forgot a few other words on his vocabulary list... he says hat, door, hot and "brrr" for something cold and I am sure that there are others that escape me still!

June 21, 2007 - Silly Colin and Mama self portraits

During bedtime snack, Colin and Mama played with the camera and took some silly self portraits that Colin loved to look at after each picture was taken. He was cracking himself up (and Mama too!) (sorry for some of the quite horrendous angles!)

June 19, 2007 - Dinobubbler!!

If I got around to putting video clips on the blog to really show you what Colin is doing, all you would see from this week is Colin running around yelling 'bubbles, bubbles, bubbles'!!! The more, the better (and his new favorite word)! He loves this bubble blower he got from his friends Jordan and Bella and can't wait to have them over to play with it soon!

June 17, 2007 - Bubble mower

Colin gets in some practice mowing the grass (and driveway) with his new bubble mower from our friends Mary Beth and Rosemary- he loves his new toy! Thanks MB and RE!!!

June 16, 2007 - Housewarming!

Colin and I enjoyed having some friends over (big and small) for a housewarming party on Saturday! Here's a few pictures of the afternoon... the sand table was a hit with the little ones and the sangria a hit with the adults :)

June 14, 2007 - Ooh, ooh, ruff!

...says Colin as he hears a doggie outside through the window during dinner. He makes a dog panting noise when he hears a dog barking, too cute!

June 10, 2007- new backyard!

Thanks to Aunt Lissa and Dan, we have a newly landscaped backyard (sans high-low bars which is fine by me, special thanks to Dan for digging them out)!

It is gorgeous and Colin explored in the backyard on Sunday afternoon (now we just have to wait until next Spring to cut back those overgrown hostas, they are taking over the yard)!

June 9, 2007 - Bedtime snack smiles

Colin snacks on some crackers and milk before bedtime and gives Mama a big grin!

June 8, 2007 - corn on the cob

Colin picked up at least one new skill from Aunt Lissa while she and Dan were visiting and watching Colin during Mama's NY market trip this week... he LOVES to eat corn on the cob!

It is hilarious-- he does a darn good job and finishes almost the entire ear of corn! ...and we're almost ready for some serious eating with both sets of molars coming in at the same time!
